This Cutting Mat has a self-healing surface so it remains smooth and easy to use even after a long time. There is a 1-inch grid on the surface to aid in cutting. This mat is perfect for crafting or scrapbooking. There are also other uses to the mat. It can be used as a writing mat as it is static free, it could be a stamping mat or a computer mat. Top Notch! Don’t cut without it!

I am a graphic artist and use my Uchida cutting mat on a daily basis. I frame a lot of prints and cut a ton of mat board using my cutting mat and this one is the best by far. It actually is self healing unlike so many others that just fall apart with little use. This Uchida never fails me, and I love it. It costs a little more but the quality and durability is so worth it. This mat works as hard as I do. Give this a try!
