I love these markers they are awesome really wish I could get the big set of all the colors.
The pen wrote nicely but didn’t last very long at all. Had to go back down to Micheals and get more but didn’t buy the Bistro again decided to to buy the craft smart brand which is excellent and has lasted much longer.
Very misleading product name. Could not get the marker off of our outdoor cafe chalk board. It was custom made for our business. Website is no help. Don’t buy this product or anything else from them.
I'm not sure why these are advertised as "chalk markers" or why this website claims they work on chalkboards. The pens themselves do not say they are ok for chalkboards (I should have read the tiny print on the pen before using). The pen says, "Eraseable on Whiteboards, Lightboards and Other Non-porous Surfaces." That's it. They don't come off of chalkboards. They leave "ghost" letters behind and I am super disappointed. I suggest you keep looking for a chalk pen that is actually meant for chalkboards.
I’ve ruined 2 chalkboards using this product. It will not wipe off. I even tried to wash it off with soap & water with no luck! Very poor quality.
Sorry to hear that, certain chalk boards are porous. Try conditioning the board first by taking chalk or a chalk marker and rub it all over the chalkboard. Then wipe it off with a chalkboard eraser or a damp cloth for markers. This will help fill in the pores.
